Graphic Designer

Working Hours: Full Time
Department: Marketing
Reports To: Marketing Director
Salary: £18k to £22k depending on experience

A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join an award winning market leading Technology Company based in Gloucester. Avantis develops award winning classroom technology for the education sector and it is seeking a talented Graphic Designer to support the online and offline marketing design.

You will have an exceptional eye for detail and a creative approach with the ability to visually differentiate our market leading products within the education space. You must have the ability to adapt to the business’ needs and be able to learn new skills quickly and offer creative ways of visually representing our product portfolio. You will work both independently, from informal specifications, and as part of a wider sales and marketing team to support multiple national and international projects.

Experience in artworking concepts and ensuring they are print production ready, as well as experience in the print processes, is important. You will also have practical experience of creating graphic for web and be able to follow a clear style guide to keep all imagery on-brand.

Reporting directly to the Marketing Director, you will be able to manage your own time effectively with the ability to deliver projects within tight timescales.

The successful applicant will have a proven track record in designing product and marketing collateral with key skills in the following disciplines:

Adobe creative suite:
InDesign
Illustrator
Photoshop

In addition, experience in some of the following would be advantageous:

WordPress development
HTML / Javascript / CSS
Photography
Videography

Educational:
Degree in a graphics discipline

Experience:
Minimum 1 year within a design role.

Salary: £18k to £22k DOE
